Rural Transportation Program

The Municipality of Greenstone operates a door-to-door transportation program for Seniors (55 and up) in Longlac and Geraldton. Municipal staff pick up Seniors in the paratransit bus (or Municipality of Greenstone van) to take them grocery shopping, to the drug store, or to the post office.  The fee to use the Rural Transportation Program is $2.05 per ride.  This fee can be paid to the driver directly or ridership tickets can be purchased at the Greenstone Administration Office or the Longlac Ward Office for $15.30 for a book of 10.
